Orzo and Herbs

7 cups water
1 cup orzo
1 tablespoon thyme
1 tablespoon chives
1 tablespoon tarragon
1 tablespoon basil
1 tablespoon sage
2 teaspoons olive oil
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon pepper

Bring water to a rolling boil in a large pot. Stir in the orzo and cook for about 6 minutes. Place the herbs, oil, salt and pepper in a serving bowl. When the pasta is ready, drain and add it to the bowl. Toss well and serve either cold or hot.
